		<title>Pannier 9682 Overhaul Update</title>
		<description><![CDATA[GWR Pannier Locomotive Class ‘5700’ No. 9682 was designed by Collett, built during May 1949 and cost £5,280.00.
It said farewell to a full working life in August 1965, was purchased by the Group in July 1981 from Woodham’s Yard in Barry, South Wales, and delivered to the Southall Railway Centre in November 1982.

		<title>GWRPG Members visit The Lavender Line</title>
		<description><![CDATA[On Sunday last, 12th September, nearly thirty GWR Preservation Group Members visited the Lavender Line near Uckfield, in glorious sunshine. Arriving late morning, they were greeted by the society chairman and given a warm welcome. Our locomotive &#8216;Birkenhead&#8217; was already in steam and running on the preserved line giving rides in the coupled restored coach.

		<title>&#8216;Birkenhead&#8217; moves to the Lavender Line</title>
		<description><![CDATA[RSH locomotive &#8217;Birkenhead&#8217; has now had its major overhaul completed and has been certified ready for work!
&#8216;Birkenhead&#8217; will  transported on Thursday 27th May south to the Lavender Line, in the countryside town of Isfield in East Sussex, off the A26 near Uckfield.
